CILAS Seminar 2010                           

Topic : Combining Size and Shape Analyses for more Precise Particle Characterization

Bio-focus Saintifik Sdn Bhd in collaboration with CILAS, the key player in particle size analyzers conducted a seminar on "Combining Size and Shape Analyses for more Precise Particle Characterization". The event was held for all international manufacturers and suppliers to have a better understanding and appreciation of how CILAS particle size and shape analyzing technologies can value-add to their processes. The seminar also served as a knowledge sharing and network platform to update and inform industry players of the latest products, technologies and processing solutions across the industries.

Mr Alban Dalibard, CILAS Export Area Manager was the key speaker at this event. Aside from sharing his knowledge and experience, Mr Dalibard demonstrated the use of the shape analyzer in conjunction with particle analysis. The event was well received with more than 80% attendance and good participation of customers from the government and private sectors. From Mr Dalibard's talk followed by the questions and answers session, participants were able to understand the principles, theories, instruments, applications and also important features of CILAS.
