There's Vision in Biomedia
Lianhe Zaobao carried a feature article of the CEO of Biomedia Group, one of the Top Entrepreneurs of the Year. The article reported how Mr David Chung started off his business selling biomedical equipment with a start-up capital of only $10,000. With his perseverance, he has transformed the company from a distributor of biomedical equipment to a manufacturer manufacturing culture media. He has since expanded his business from Singapore to Malaysia and Thailand. Over the years, the company has diversified into many other arenas such as life science in providing medical diagnostics equipment and IT solutions for blood banks, and industrial science in materials testing.
Over a phone interview with the reporter, he told Lianhe Zaobao that he hoped his story will help to encourage and inspire those who want to venture out on their own and also entrepreneurs to continue pursuing their dreams as success is just within their reach.

13 Finalists Named for Entrepreneur of the Year
The Straits Times - 13 top entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized businesses were recognised for their entrepreneurial efforts. Executive Chairman of Biomedia Group, Mr David Chung was amongst the 13 finalists. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award is organised by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Rotary Club. Out of these 13 top entrepreneurs, one will be named Overall Entrepreneur of the Year on 11 Oct.
